What is your tuber guarantee?
Thank you for supporting my small farm! I guarantee that the dahlia tubers you receive will match their identification and come with at least one visible eye, an intact neck and a healthy tuber body. Please inspect your tubers as soon as they arrive, and if you have any concerns, contact me at weatherfieldgardens@gmail.com within 5 days of delivery. After that window, you’ll be accepting full responsibility for their care. Keep in mind, I can’t be responsible for issues like bad weather, pests, rot, poor growing conditions, or plant performance.
How many tubers are included for the price?
The price listed is per tuber.
Dahlia Tuber Shipping 2025
I ship only within the USA. This includes Alaska and Hawaii.
Tubers are shipped early April through mid May.
Combined Shipping: I’m happy to combine shipping as long as the address for both orders is the same at the time of order. Changing the address after the order is placed is not an option.
Is my cart reserved?
Having a tuber in your cart does not guarantee you the sale. Your order is only confirmed when you have completed checkout and received a confirmation email.
What if my tuber is mislabeled?
Here at Weatherfield Gardens, accurate labeling is super important—but I’m human and a mix-up can happen. If your dahlia blooms and it’s not the variety you ordered, please reach out with photos and a copy of your order. I’ll do my best to make it right!
What do you do for virus prevention?
I take every precaution to grow the healthiest dahlias possible. I cull any plants that seem suspicious, and I sanitize my tools carefully at every stage between plants. That being said, by purchasing, you acknowledge that dahlias, like any other plant, can sometimes get sick, and viruses aren’t 100% avoidable. Since no one grows in a completely sterile environment and viruses can spread easily through insects, I do not offer refunds for virus-related issues.
Do you substitute for stock loss?
I don’t offer substitutions if I experience stock loss. If something unexpected happens with storage between the time you order and when I ship, I’ll refund you for the affected tuber(s).
Can I cancel my order?
Once your order is placed, it’s final—I’m unable to accept cancellations or changes. That said, because dahlias are a perishable product, I reserve the right to cancel and fully refund any order at my discretion during the quality checks prior to shipping. Your satisfaction and the quality of the tubers are my top priorities!
Why are there limits on some tubers?
I know we all have wish lists a mile long! To help as many people as possible find their dream tubers, some varieties are limited to 1 per household. Please respect these limits so everyone has a chance to snag their favorites.
